Pediatric Neurosurgery

UBNS provides a wide range of comprehensive neurosurgical services to the pediatric population. We specialize in comprehensive medical and surgical management of children with head and spinal cord injuries and the treatment of children with developmental spinal disorders such as spina bifida, surgical management of seizure disorders, and comprehensive care for children with brain tumors. UBNS also offers coordinated and comprehensive care for children with craniosynostosis and related craniofacial abnormalities.

UBNS participates in the only program in Western New York that offers comprehensive neurosurgical treatment of spasticity, including rhizotomy and intrathecal baclofen pump therapy.
