With a goal of creating a one-stop neuroscience center, UB Neurosurgery will break ground later this month on a $25 million medical facility, with an opening set for next summer.
To be located between Erie Community College and Transit Road, the 60,000-square-foot facility will go up at the corner of Wehrle Drive and George Karl Boulevard on a seven-acre parcel. A second phase calls for building an ambulatory surgery center on acreage behind the building.
