Programs and Services

The UBNS movement disorders team believes in a multidisciplinary approach to patient care. Members of the team are certified by the National Parkinson’s Foundation to provide supportive services to Parkinson’s disease patients and their families.

Our professional staff also acts as advisors to the National Parkinson’s Foundation, which runs patient support groups throughout the WNY region. These groups provide ongoing education and supportive programs along with activities to maintain neuromuscular function. NPF also holds various educational, social, and charitable events and activities throughout the year including:

  • Annual Education Symposium
  • Parkinson’s Walk/Moving Day Event
  • Family Picnic
  • Wine Tasting
  • Golf tournament
  • Valentine’s Dance to encourage interaction within the local Parkinson’s community.
  • Boxing
