Dr. Dunleavy is a highly respected interventional radiologist and the Medical Director of Atlas Interventional Radiology. Additionally, he serves as the Medical Director of the Interventional Radiology program at Olean General Hospital.
Here at UBNS, Dr. Dunleavy leads our Interventional radiology team using advanced medical imaging to diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions with minimally invasive techniques. Guided by real-time imaging, procedures are performed through small incisions, offering an alternative to open surgery with shorter recovery times.

Dr. Dunleavy received his medical degree from the University of Vermont College of Medicine, VT. He completed his residency in radiology at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine at Johns Hopkins Hospital, where he completed his fellowship in vascular and interventional radiology. He is board-certified by the American Board of Radiology with a certificate of added qualification (CAQ) in interventional radiology. He also was selected for the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) medical honor society. Dr. Dunleavy spent additional time training in musculoskeletal and spine interventions and is the vice chair of the Pain Council for the Society of Interventional Radiology.
