UBNS is dedicated to providing the highest quality care & treatments. This means ensuring accurate diagnoses to determine the best treatment plan for every individual. Getting a second opinion for AVM and aneurysms diagnoses is crucial in determining initial neurological diagnoses, improving treatment plans, and providing peace of mind to our patients.
In order to get a second opinion from our UBNS team, we require patients already have imaging of the AVM or aneurysm that requires treatment. Patients must also have a referral from another doctor or specialist. Please note that UBNS does not offer second opinions on diagnoses that patients have had surgery on within the last year.
Dr. Elad Levy serves as the Director of Endovascular Stroke Treatment and Research and the Medical Director of Neuroendovascular Services at Gates Vascular Institute. At UBNS, he leads a team of highly skilled neurosurgeons who specialize in treating complex neuroendovascular conditions—including AVMs and aneurysms—every single day. When you seek a second opinion, Dr. Levy and his team take a personalized, in-depth look at your case, providing expert guidance tailored to your specific diagnosis.
Appointments will be scheduled within 1-2 weeks of calling UBNS.
