Buffalo is served by a number of bus lines. Buses arrive at the main bus station, which is approximately two miles from RPCI.
Travel by Car
From within the United States, Buffalo and RPCI are accessed via Interstate 90 (the New York State Thruway). From Canada, the most convenient access is via the QEW (Queen Elizabeth Way) through Fort Erie and across the Peace Bridge to I-190.
Metro Rail and Metro Bus Service provided by the Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority can be accessed from Children’s Hospital. The City of Buffalo operates a parking ramp just behind Women & Children’s on Hodge Street. The ramp also has direct access from Elmwood (somewhat hidden) in the center of the block just north of Hodge. Parking also available at several other locations in the vicinity of the hospital.
Valet parking is available at the main entrance Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. – 9 p.m. Valet attendants are available to assist with loading or unloading of items and to help with wheelchairs or any other needs. The cost for the valet services is $5 per day.
