Pediatric Neurosurgeon, Dr. Renee Reynolds, Joins UBNS

Renee Reynolds, MD, has joined the department of neurosurgery as Assistant Professor of Neurosurgery. Dr. Reynolds completed her neurosurgical training at the Duke University Medical Center in 2012 and received her medical degree from SUNY Upstate Medical University in 2006. She completed a one-year fellowship at Seattle Children’s Hospital/University of Washington pediatric neurosurgery.
Dr. Reynolds areas of expertise are the following: Pediatric neurosurgery including congenital neurosurgical conditions, brain tumors, surgical management of epilepsy, craniofacial disorders, hydrocephalus and spasticity.
Her clinical interests include brain tumors, management of hydrocephalus including endoscopic third ventriculostomies and choroid plexus cauterization, and open and minimally invasive epilepsy surgery.
The management of hydrocephalus and immunotherapy for pediatric brain tumors are Dr. Reynolds research interests.
Dr. Reynolds will be seeing patients out of the UBNS office that is located in Women and Children’s Hospital of Buffalo.
